How to Clear Clogged Drains
There are several of ways to clear clogged drains. These may include using harsh chemicals, using natural solutions, and when things get worse, contacting experts is the best remedy.
Using Baking Soda with Hot Water
This is a very effective method to use. This is done by putting baking soda into the drain and pouring boiling water into it. This is done repeatedly until the drain is clear. However, adding freshly boiled water is not advisable for plastic PVC since it may loosen the connection of pipes, which may cause more trouble.
Using High Pressure Water Jetting
This method is one of the modern ways and considered as the simplest and quickest way to clear blocked drainage. Using this technique, you can instantly eliminate blockages by continuous firing of water into the deposits and wastes to expel them out of the pipe.
Electro-Mechanical Cleaning
Electro-Mechanical Cleaning is perfect in removing hard substances like uric and lime scale and concrete residue. This method is mostly used in vent and soil pipes, sinks, bath tubs and urinals. This process uses sprung cutters on flexible rods and is done by pushing into the pipe to remove clogs manually.
